UPDATE: 9:20 p.m.

No one was injured after a motorhome burst into flames, Tuesday night. 

Summerland Fire Chief Rob Robinson confirmed eight firefighters responded to a blaze on Barkwill Street at about 7:19 p.m.

Fire crews arrived on the scene to find an RV ablaze on the shoulder of the road just outside the Pleasant View Motel.

91裸聊视频淐rews did a good job of initially knocking the fire down but had to pull away from the fire before fully extinguishing, as we ran into a hazard of wires above it that burnt down on top of the motorhome,91裸聊视频� said Robinson. 

According to Robinson, members of the Summerland electrical utility division were called in to assist, 91裸聊视频渄e-energizing the lines before fire crews could go back in and fully extinguish the fire.91裸聊视频�

Four more Summerland firefighters and a ladder truck were staged at the scene but were not needed.

The cause of the fire is not known, but crews remain in the area investigating. 

UPDATE: 8:05 p.m.

Multiple fire crews, RCMP and BC Ambulance are on the scene of Pleasant View Motel and RV Park in Summerland. 

A structure located on the premises of the park went up in flames at about 7 p.m. and fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze by just after 8 p.m.

It91裸聊视频檚 unclear if anyone was inside the structure at the time of the fire. 

Emergency crews remain on the scene investigating.  It91裸聊视频檚 not known what started the blaze. 

Highway 97 remains open.

The Pleasant View Motel was once known to house those who were experiencing homelessness and in reported the RV park had people renting substandard conditions. 

Flames can be seen rising from a structure off Highway 97 in Summerland.

The blaze was first spotted just after 7 p.m.

According to witnesses, a motorhome parked near the Summerland Car Wash was engulfed in flames. 

Traffic is backed up southbound on Highway 97, but the road remains open.
