A semi-truck crash is blocking the Coquihalla Highway's southbound lanes on Saturday morning, Feb. 8.

The Coquihalla's southbound lanes are reopen again as the crash scene has been cleared.

A vehicle incident is blocking the southbound lanes of the Coquihalla Highway on Saturday morning, Feb. 8.

The crash involved multiple semi-trucks and took place around 7:50 a.m. It's unknown if anyone was injured.

According to DriveBC, a vehicle recovery is on process and traffic will be stopped while the recovery takes place.

The incident happened between between the Zopkios brake check (exit 217) and Portia (exit 202), three kilometres south of the Coquihalla Summit and 11km south of the Great Bear Snowshed.

Two ambulances are on scene.

The Coquihalla Highway is expecting 2-4 cm of snow throughout the day.
