Enjoy a swim or skate alongside some well-known holiday friends at two upcoming events.
There91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™ll be games and activities for all ages at the annual Swim with Santa at Parkinson Recreation Centre on Sunday, Dec. 10, from 1 to 3 p.m. Kids can have an underwater photo taken with Santa and enjoy plenty of holiday fun. Photos are complimentary for pass holders or with the purchase of a daily pool pass and will be emailed to parents.
The city91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s annual Family Holiday Skate will take place on Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Rutland Arena from 3 to 5:15 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon of free skating, face painting for the kids, plus hot chocolate and other refreshments courtesy of Tim Hortons.
Skate rentals are available, don91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™t forget to bring helmets. Donations for the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank are greatly appreciated.
