To the editor:

I am finally writing about the proposed Tourist Centre. I can91裸聊视频檛 believe that the city has not said 91裸聊视频渄efinitely not91裸聊视频� to having such a business located on the waterfront. Why the delay in your decision?

The Chamber of Commerce and the Tourist Centre have one of the prime locations in Kelowna. If more space is needed, I91裸聊视频檓 sure some clever architect and/or contractor can add a second floor which might make the building more visible. The parking is right there. Everyone should be so lucky.

The mini Anchor Park might intrigue more travellers and residents alike.

Perhaps the Tourist Centre could rent from and be a focal point for the proposed hotel. That is nearly on the waterfront and would be a prestigious address.

Now if they want something truly unique, have they considered The Fintry Queen? With some much needed interior refurbishing it would certainly catch the eye of visitors to our city. It is part of our history and needs to be preserved. The necessary vehicle parking lot already exists. A grand walkway to the ship could be enhanced in several ways.

Penticton got our Sicamous years ago and Kaslo is the proud owner of The Moyie which sailed their waters for years.

Stop the madness. Stop telling us that you need to be on the waterfront. As far as I can tell most visitors now come for golf and wine tours. Since we no longer have an International Regatta to brag about, you definitely do not need to be on the water91裸聊视频檚 edge.
