October 6, 1937 - February 5, 2022
In loving memory of Marie Marguerite Mussell (nee Wignall) who went suddenly, but peacefully to be with her Lord on February 5, 2022, at the age of 84.
Marie was born on October 6, 1937, in St. Boniface Manitoba. She moved with her family at age two to Summerland B.C. where her parents managed a golf club and a fruit stand for many years.
After graduation, she met and married the love of her life David Mussell and they were married on December 16, 1961, in North Surrey B.C. Along with their four small children, Dave and Marie moved to Kelowna, B.C. in 1970 where they resided for the rest of their lives.
Marie worked hard all her life, lovingly, as a wife and mother and at the age of 46 she went back to college and became a certified dental assistant and continued to work into her seventies.
She had many hobbies during her lifetime but mostly she loved spending time with her family and friends, gardening, taking long walks with her dogs, music, baking and canning and being a faithful member to her church, Corpus Christi, Rutland Parish.
Marie lived a full and happy life, and she will be forever missed by her four children, Michael (Angie), Catherine (Abel), Tamara (Chris), Diane (Bruce), her many grandchildren, Stephen, Breeanna (Rylan), Michael (Tracy), Andrew, Robert, Scott, David (Becky), Amanda (Mandy), Brandon (Erica), Brittany (Justin), Jordan and Breanna.
She will also be missed by her great grandchildren, Aria, Maverik, Benjamin, Alexandria, Scarlett, Marlee, Nicole and David Junior.
She will also be greatly missed by her "Sister of the Heart" Violet and her very good friend Ingrid.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, David on July 28, 2021, her mother and father Yvonne and George Currie, her brother Lewis John Wignall, her granddaughter Alexandria Marie, and great grandson Adam.
Rest in Peace Mom, we all love you and miss you until we meet again.
"Death is that state by which we exist in the memories of others, which is why it is not an end.
No goodbyes, only good memories".

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to First Memorial on Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, B.C. A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a date that will later be advertised.
In lieu of flowers a donation to your favourite charity of choice would be appreciated
