Engelhardt Klein was born in Romania on November 4th, 1930. He passed away December 4th, 2022, at the age of 92, after a short battle with cancer. He came to Canada in 1954 to begin a new life. He married Helen Speigel on January 23rd, 1954. They were blessed with a son, Adrian Barry (now deceased), and a daughter Corina Lee.
Engelhardt was a man of many traits and the life of any party. When asked how he was feeling, he would say "Miserable!". He was quite a jokester.
He is survived by his loving wife Helen; daughter Corina; son-in-law Paul; daughter-in-law Pin; grandsons Austin and Nathan; sisters Erna and Edith, both in Germany; sisters-in-law Matilda Meyer and Mona Speigel; brother-in-law Frank Speigel; and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 5th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, B.C.
