Early January saw Salmon Arm RCMP responding to two incidents where pickup trucks reported stolen were found soon after.

At 10 a.m. on Jan. 1, a person reported their white Dodge pickup had been stolen from their Salmon Arm residence. In a Jan. 22 media release, Const. Andrew Hodges noted the key had been left inside the vehicle.

On Jan. 8, RCMP received a report from a man who said his white GMC Sierra had been stolen in Sunnybrae. At the same time, said Hodges, police received a second report about two people with face coverings walking away from a GMC Sierra.

Officers responded and spoke with the two suspects, one of which was the initial complainant who had reported his truck stolen, said Hodges.

The initial complainant and owner of the truck, later admitted to setting his truck on fire, but was evasive as to why.91裸聊视频�

Prohibited driver

On Jan. 3, Salmon Arm RCMP stopped a vehicle with inactive insurance near the city91裸聊视频檚 industrial park. Hodges said the driver was identified as serving a driving prohibition notice. The driver was served a four-month driving prohibition and the vehicle was towed.
