Portion of North Shuswap park spared by Bush Creek East wildfire reopened

BC Parks has reopened of a portion of Ts煤tswecw Park spared by the Bush Creek East wildfire when it blazed through the North Shuswap.

Last month, BC Parks announced the reopened portion includes the trails and forested areas southeast of the main plaza and parking area. Access is via the eastern beach road, dependent on weather conditions.

The news was well received by the Adams River Salmon Society, which runs the interpretive centre at the plaza and oversees the famous Salute to the Sockeye celebrations during the annual salmon run.
