Salmon Arm RCMP say a man at a downtown residence expecting an ambulance to arrive was put off when police showed up in response to a break and enter.

The break and enter was reported around 4 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25. Officers arrived at the residence to find a woman who 91裸聊视频渘onchalantly informed police she had called,91裸聊视频� explained Salmon Arm RCMP Const. Andrew Hodges in a Feb. 7 media release.

91裸聊视频淭here appeared to be no emergency and no active break and enter,91裸聊视频� said Hodges. 91裸聊视频淎 male then presented himself and became aggravated police were there, indicating he had called for an ambulance, and not police.91裸聊视频�

The attending officers confirmed an ambulance had been called, but explained that due to the nature of the call, police were requested by BC Ambulance. Hodges said the man was uncooperative with police, but eventually alleged that two or three suspects had broke into the home and struck him with a club. He said the man sprayed the attackers with pepper spray and the attackers left.

The man was transported to hospital for further evaluation. Hodges said police believe the incident was a targeted attack, with no further safety concerns for the neighbourhood.
