Family, police seek answers 2 years after Penticton man's death

RCMP issue call to public for answers, almost two years after downtown stabbing

Police are continuing to investigate the death of a Penticton man who was stabbed in the parking lot of a downtown liquor store close to two years ago.

On Dec. 17, 2022, Penticton RCMP responded to reports of a stabbing in the 300 block of Main Street, outside Gables Liquor Store.

The victim, later identified as 61-year-old Ted Randhawa, was standing beside his vehicle when he was approached by a male who stabbed him multiple times and then fled on foot, according to a witness.

It was first believed that Randhawa would survive the attack. But in the days that followed, his condition changed and he succumbed to his injuries, police said.

91裸聊视频淭he investigation has made considerable progress, with investigators believing this was a targeted attack,91裸聊视频 stated Cpl. James Grandy, BC RCMP spokesperson. 

"Ted Randhawa was a remarkable individual with extraordinary talents," his mother said. "Whether it be golf, building motorcycles, carpentry, or mechanics, there was nothing Ted could not fix, build, or craft. He truly was one of a kind.

"We owe it to his memory to bring those responsible for his untimely death to justice, so Ted can finally rest in peace."

RCMP is issuing another call to the public for answers, as they continue the investigation.

"Police are continuing to advance the investigation by focusing on identifying the person, or persons involved," Grandy said. "We91裸聊视频檙e reaching out to the public after almost two years in the hope that someone has information they91裸聊视频檝e yet to contact us about."

Anyone who might have information about the incident is asked to contact the Penticton RCMP.
