Documentary examines why Americans are so sick
The feature-length documentary Eating You Alive: One bite at a time will be shown in Red Deer at Westerner Park on Feb. 6.
Featuring several medical experts and researchers, Eating You Alive takes a scientific look at the reasons why Americans are so sick, and how people can use whole-food, plant-based nutrition to take control of their health.
The film includes interviews with actor Samuel L. Jackson, director James Cameron, and B.C. resident and veteran police spokesperson Dan Moskaluk who attributes his adoption of a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle to his successful battle with terminal kidney cancer.
The film91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s director and producer will be on NBC91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s The Today Show on Tuesday to discuss the film.
Three screenings of the film will be held at 1:30, 6:30, and 9 p.m. in the Heartland Room at the Harvest Centre, 4847A 19th St.
