PHOTOS: Coast 2 Coast international hockey tournament takes Kelowna

The tournament took place from June 4 to 9 at MNP Place

The intensity grew with each game as the Coast 2 Coast International Cup hockey tournament took place at MNP Place in Kelowna.

From June 4 to 9, teams from all over the world took to the ice in one of the largest development and showcase tournaments in the world. 

The tournament featured nearly 700 minor hockey league players of various age groups, including teams from Slovenia, Korea, and Japan. Each team got to play a minimum of six games in the round-robin portion of the tournament.

One of the owners of Coast 2 Coast is current Carolina Hurricanes defenceman Brent Burns.
