The Okanagan Sun return to the Apple Bowl on Saturday, Aug. 17 as the look to stay undefeated on the season against the Prince George Kodiaks.

After three straight weeks on the road, the Okanagan Sun look to remain perfect on the season as they welcome to Prince George Kodiaks to the Apple Bowl this Saturday (Aug. 17)

The Sun sit atop the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) standings with a 4-0 record and have outscored their opponents 112-69. Meanwhile, the Kodiaks are fifth in the BCFC with a 1-3 record.

The question for the Sun going into week five is, who will start at quarterback? Both Liam Kroeger and Marek Filipek have been great so far on the season under centre. Kroeger is 38/63 with three touchdowns on the season while Filipek is 26/43. However, last week against West Shore, the move that sparked the Sun's comeback was when Filipek came into the game.

There is no question who will start for the Sun at running back at Elelyon Noa leads the BCFC in all rushing categories through four weeks. He's rushed for eight touchdowns and 504 yards so far this season.

For Prince George, quarterback Sawyer Theissen loves to throw to ball. So far this year he's 69/132, throwing for 814 yards and seven touchdowns.

Look for some passes to be intercepted in this contest as the Sun's Ahmed Borhot and the Kodiaks' Colter Cannon and Taeman Piddocke sit first, second, and third in the league in interceptions. Borhot has four while Cannon and Piddocke have three.

Saturday's kick-off is at 7 p.m. at the Apple Bowl. The game is also available on BCFCTV.com or on Telus channel 1981.
