Kelowna Yacht Club celebrates 21 years of success with Blind Angler Fishing Derby

The Kelowna Yacht Club (KYC) celebrated its 21st Annual Blind Fishing Derby on Sep. 16.

It was organized by club volunteers, the Power Fleet Committee, and chaired by Gloria and Rodney Lozinski.

91ƵThis event has become a beacon of inclusivity and joy in the community, providing visually impaired individuals a day of adventure and camaraderie on the waters of the Okanagan Lake,91Ƶ read a statement from KYC.

This year91Ƶs winners are:

  • 1st place - Joyce Roydell;
  • 2nd place - Stella Palmer;
  • 3rd place - Ryan Jobling.
