Kelowna Rockets

It's the final weekend of the preseason for the Kelowna Rockets as they're set to play a home-and-home with the Vancouver Giants.

The two teams will square off on Saturday night (Sept. 14) at Prospera Place at 6:05 p.m. and the following afternoon down in Ladner at 2 p.m.

The Rockets split their preseason games against Kamloops last week, losing 9-3 and winning 4-3. Vancouver lost 3-2 and win 5-3 against the Victoria Royals last weekend.

Kelowna is without eight players as they are attending NHL rookie camps.

West Kelowna Warriors

West Kelowna Warriors fans will get their first look at the 2024-25 team in the team's final two preseason games this weekend.

This weekend, the Warriors welcome the Penticton Vees on Friday night (Sept. 13) and the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Sunday afternoon, both at Royal LePage Place. Friday night's puck drop is at 7 p.m. while Sunday's is at 2:30 p.m.

On the road last weekend, West Kelowna beat Vernon 4-0, but fell to Cranbrook 7-3. Penticton lost to Trail 7-4 but beat Vernon 2-1 while Salmon Arm beat Trail 3-2 but lost to Vernon 3-0.

Okanagan Sun

The Okanagan Sun are looking to remain perfect on the year as they're set to take on the Prince George Kodiaks on Saturday.

First place in the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC), the Sun are 7-0 on the season while Prince George is 1-6. In the first matchup of the season, the Sun pounded the Kodiaks 70-0.

Saturday's kick off is at 6 p.m.
