One person was taken to hospital on Friday morning (Jan. 24) as a result of a "serious incident" in the 700-block of Saucier Avenue.
Kelowna RCMP and the Southeast District Emergency Response Team (ERT) arrived in the area around 4:15 a.m. Emergency services also attended the scene.
Around 7:30 a.m., ERT and an ambulance left the scene, but many officers remained at the investigation continued. As a part of the investigation, officers put up yellow police tape around a home behind the Great Canadian Oil Change.
It is unknown what caused the incident to happen and what happened to the one person who suffered injuries.
This is no danger to the public's safety.
