Fresh off two awards at the 2023 British Columbia Country Music Awards (BCCMA), West Kelowna country artist Ben Klick is out with an original Christmas song and music video.

Klick was awarded the Gaylord Wood Traditional Artist of the Year, and the President91Ƶs Citation awards in November.

91ƵIt was a shock to have won two awards at this year91Ƶs BC Country Music Awards,91Ƶ Klick said. 91ƵBeing recognized by the community for what I do and who I am as an artist personally and professionally is something I don91Ƶt take lightly.91Ƶ

The Gaylord Wood Award is presented to the act whose music is based on traditional country style, but is different from what is considered mainstream country.

The President91Ƶs Citation is based on factors such as community involvement, artistry, and overall support and professionalism within country music.

Klick was recognized for raising more than $170,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada through his fundraiser Music Fest MS.

He also recorded his brand new Christmas song 91ƵSanta Rides A Harley91Ƶ, released Dec. 1, at Studio Downe Under in Abbotsford.

The music video was filmed in Kelowna and will be released Dec. 8.

91ƵI91Ƶve always loved motorbikes,91Ƶ Klick added. 91ƵMy dad and I used to go to the Vancouver Motorcycle Show every year when I was growing up.91Ƶ

In the coming months, Klick will be playing several shows showcasing new music, including his latest singles and unreleased songs, before heading to Nashville at the end of January.
