Kelowna RCMP search car on Gordon Drive during traffic stop

Kelowna RCMP searched a vehicle on Gordon Drive just before 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4.

Kelowna RCMP were seen searching a vehicle as part of a traffic stop just before 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 4).

According to a Black Press Media reporter who was driving by, two officers were searching a vehicle in the right southbound lane on Gordon Drive, between Raymer Avenue and K.L.O. Road.

RCMP confirmed that the driver of the white vehicle was found to be prohibited from driving and didn't have his identification on him. 

The driver cooperated with the officers on scene and was released with a notice to appear. 

Additionally, the vehicle was towed.
