Voters from two different ridings will have their first chance to hear from candidates on Oct. 3.

An Environmental All Candidates Forum takes place at Vernon's Towne Theatre for candidates from both Vernon-Lumby and Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream ridings.

"Vernon and Coldstream are connected in too many ways for us to only do Vernon," said Julia Lissau with the Sustainable Environment Network Society (SENS), which is hosting the forum.

The free non-partisan event will feature a question-and-answer period for voters to decide who would best represent us all.

Questions answered prior to the forum will be available on the Towne91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s foyer wall for the evening and at  by Oct. 3.

Send your environmental questions to info@sensociety.org

The Towne91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s doors and concession will be open by 6:30 p.m. and candidates may also be available for chat prior to the 7 p.m. event start.

SENS plans to provide live streaming for this event to accommodate those who are unable to attend and watch this live presentation. To watch from home use this  link:    Online watchers may also choose to send a question at this link, using 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ˜91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™chat91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™.

All six candidates have been invited. For Vernon-Lumby the candidates are independent Kevin Acton, Conservative Dennis Geisbrecht and NDP's Harwinder Sandhu. The candidates in Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream are Conservative Tara Armstrong and NDP's Anna Warwick Sears.

However, while Pavneet Singh, formerly of B.C. United, has been invited he has yet to respond to requests regarding his current status and if he will run as an Unaffiliated, similar to other former B.C. United candidates in the Okanagan.

There are currently no Green Party representatives since Stephanie Hendy withdrew her nomination for Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream.
