Early morning car crash caused by driver running red light: Kelowna RCMP

The crash took place around 12:50 a.m. in the intersection of Springfield Road and Gordon Drive

One driver suffered a minor injury as a result of an early morning car crash in the intersection of Springfield Road and Gordon Drive on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Two vehicles had to be towed following an early morning crash, Tuesday. 

At about 12:50 a.m. on Feb. 11, two vehicles collided in the intersection of Springfield Road and Gordon Drive. According to Kelowna RCMP, one vehicle was advancing on a green light southbound on Springfield when another vehicle ran a red light, causing the collision.

Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Neither of them showed evidence of driving under the influence.

The driver of the vehicle that was struck suffered a minor injury.
