Sailing is becoming more accessible for everyone in the Okanagan.
People in Motion (PIM), a local charity organization that helps and encourages those with physical, cognitive and sensory disabilities to participate in adaptive initiatives and services, has added a new program under their umbrella.
In partnership with AbleSail Okanagan (ASO), the program is set to make sailing more accessible using unique and adaptive boats for those who want the ability to cruise around Okanagan Lake. The partnership ensures the adaptive sailing program will continue to have the resources to provide quality training and teaching.
