Center Stage Performing Arts Academy is set to electrify Vernon with a one-night-only tribute to the iconic musical Rock of Ages.
Two high-energy performances are scheduled for Saturday, March 8, at the Vernon Recreation Centre Auditorium at 5:30 and 8 p.m.
"Rock of Ages is celebrated for its nostalgic journey through 1980s rock anthems, and Center Stage's rendition aims to capture that same spirit," said instructor Charity Van Gameren. "The Academy's Encore ensemble will bring to life classic hits, ensuring an evening filled with powerful vocals, dynamic choreography, and the rebellious essence of rock 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ˜n91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™ roll!"
Given the limited seating and the show's anticipated popularity, early booking is recommended.
Attendees are also encouraged to dress up for the '80s (many will still have the attire handy from Vernon Winter Carnival).
"Bring on the mile high hair, shoulder pads and embrace the era," said Van Gameren.
"Don't miss this opportunity to relive the glory days of 1980s rock. It's set to be an unforgettable night that will have audiences singing and dancing along to their favourite tunes."
