Scotiabank Gifts $15K to the Central Okanagan Sally Ann

Scotiabank employees give a cheque to the Salvation Army Okanagan Central

The Salvation Army Okanagan Central is ringing in the funds thanks to Scotiabank employees. 

During the Salvation Army Okanagan Central91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Christmas Kettle Campaign, Scotiabank employees from around Kelowna volunteered at three Kelowna Kettle locations.

Scotiabank matched all donations up to $15,000 during the Scotiabank Match Day, to help raise funds for the Salvation Army during a time of the year when demand on the organization is high.

Dec. 14, was chosen as match day bringing in a total of $ 28,300 being raised at the three kettle locations being hosted by Scotiabank employees. 

That was matched by Scotiabank for a total of $43,300.
